How do I get started in photography

As for a start, I have something to share on how I get into photography.

I remembered when I was spinning as a DJ for non profit group - TranceRepublic, I need to cover the event as well. Hence, gotten myself Lumix LC33!

After figuring out what I want from the camera (especially coverage of event), I decided to get my first Prosumer camera: Lumix FZ20. The camera was great, in terms of sharpness, there's no beat to it. But the noise is a headache tho.

When I decided to sell away my entire DJ set,  I had made up my mind by leaving the group of DJs because I would like to pursue photography.

And my ever first DSLR: Nikon D70.

While I was using this beast, I found that there's limitation, and I really love the high dynamic range. Therefore, I jumped - Fuji S3Pro. It is not as sharp as I thought, but the color, win me over!

And this is the ever first camera I used for my first assignment - Product shoot (Flower)

The flower product shoot was spread into 2 days. And I have to work on the arrangement and do my own props! Back then, I am totally inexperience, so I have to use my eyes and mind to judge it. I was pretty happy with the outcome.

Though the money was pretty low, I felt the satisfactions-feeling in my heart.

For this project, I even bought myself 2 x battery operated Jinbei flashlight. The cost is pretty high and I can assure you that, the product is quite border line. Nothing fanciful at all.
But the product from JinBei (now) had seem to improved a lot!

Anyway, here's some of the images I would like to share, flower photo shoot for a defunct store.

Hope you enjoy.
