Benny & Joan

For couple, Benny and Joan, their wedding is one of the simplest I had shot. They do not require lots of sisters or brothers to be present during gate crashing, just their own sister and brother! Is that cool to have your sibling doing the talk and been played?

This is how close the sisters and brothers can be, going through thick and thin together.

Thanks for the introduction, cousin Samantha. I am truly happy that the couple love the images so much; not to forget the photo montage as well!

This time, I am not doing just the photo alone, but with the audio recorded when the couple are making their vows to each other during solemnization.

It is not difficult to do that, all you need is a good mic and the audio recorder. You must visualise what you want for the final result before commencing. It is not too easy nor hard after all, its all about the brain.

If you read About Me, you will know that I used to be in audio field, so the audio editing and enhancing of audio is not an issue for me

Sean & Rebecca

Wedding photography is unlike taking photos in a studio, because there's no plan at all. What a photographer need to do; follow with the flow.

Wherever the couple are standing, talking, sitting.... you must not let your eye out of them.  because each minute and second are crucial.

Do not get yourself tempted on food and drinks, don't worry,  you get to rest later on. Work come first.

Look around you, the area and the items. If it is simple, try play around if you can capture with that. Personally, I really like balloon, they can be a good props too! Inspiration came from one of the site I seen before. Remember, always look at other photographer works, this is the way you learn.

For Sean and Rebecca, I did the same thing. I must say I am lucky to have balloon as prop! This is something I really wanted to do it.

Not to forget, although sun is hot that day, it is a beautiful ROM by the seaside.

Congrats Sean and Rebecca.

Boon.

Wilson & Lucretia

I was very happy to be call up for this job.

Lucretia the bride; also my ex schoolmate, whom I seldom talk to, approached me for wedding journalistic photography. Indeed, I was on cloud nine, partly because not only I can get to meet up with her, also my ex schoolmate from my school as well.

Despite having official photographer by her side, she wanted behind the scene to be captured.

Photography is not just about capturing human expression, the end result with the color processed play a part as well. That's why, I had did some color mood for Wilson and Lucretia.

Not only they were very happy with the result; I am delighted to received good compliments as well!

Thanks for approaching me to capture your greatest moment.

Love,
Boon

Andrew & Claudia

IMG_5815-2.jpg

After Benny's wedding, here we have Andrew and Claudia!

Thanks for the recommendation, pboong photography is happy to see the same old gang again. This time round, I am less tense than before.

This group of men knew each other since their days in NPCC, and best yet, they are all officers. Of course, they have their own working life too.

There's some sorta talking style when you are in uniform group, but I have no difficulties understanding them after all, because I was once in the uniform group before entering army.

It is always interesting to walk around the house as if you are staying there, looking not just at the bride, but the family members too. Some are busying talking on phone, putting on make up, checking each other out or.. etc...

That is the moment you captured them - photo journalistic.

Behind all wedding lies a story, it depend on how I want to show it.

Hope you like the images,
Boon - pboong photography

Denjz & Eunice

Meeting the couple who love exercising and dancing are extremely fun. Not only they have wicked and creative ideas, they even made their wedding banquet like an event which involved the guests as well! Everyone have their fun and get involved with it too.

I really need to applaud to my friend, the groom, who gave a big surprise by singing a song to his beautiful wife.

This is so touching and romantic.

Last but not least, both Denjz and Eunice are the dance instructor.
